Our woodwork shop offers the chance for our service users to gain new knowledge and build on their skills, there are always lots of things happening in the busy environment. Service users are provided with the correct personal protective equipment for any tasks they are doing. They are supported to do various things which include collecting pallets that have been donated from other businesses, dismantling pallets, de-nailing the wood, chopping the wood into sticks for kindling. Sanding, upcycling old furniture and making garden furniture and painting. Service users in our workshop also help in the garden area, cutting grass, weeding around the lawns, potting plants and watering. Working in the workshop gives our service users a great sense of achievement and helps them build their confidence and self-esteem.
