Who are Dalewood Trust?

Dalewood Trust is a charitable trust offering a wide range of support and services for adults with disabilities and learning difficulties in Whitby and the surrounding areas.

Dalewood Trust was originally established in 1981 by a group of local parents with children needing specialist care.

At Dalewood Trust we support our service users with accessing the community and activities such as adult educational courses, work experience, volunteering in charity shops. Meetings, leisure interests such as swimming. For service users with more complex needs we can support with personal care, rebound therapy, physiotherapy, access to speech and language therapy and support with dietary needs. We support our service users to access the community as much as possible, working closely with other charities, support groups and businesses.
Dalewood trust offers person centred care in a comfortable environment. We are also able to offer 1-1 support to service users who require it.
